Yvonne (Cormier) Richard, 93, of 59 Eastwood Circle, Gardner, and formerly of 10 Regan St., Gardner, died peacefully Monday, December 31st in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, Gardner following an illness.
Born in Fitchburg on June 6, 1914, she was the daughter of Gedieon and Mary (Leger) Cormier.
Mrs. Richard was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She enjoyed gardening, upholstering, canning, and crafting. She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and loved watching her favorite television program, "The Price Is Right".
Her husband of 45 years, Hector J. Richard, died in 1986.
She leaves two brothers, Clarence Cormier of West Boylston and Francis Cormier of Fitchburg; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 4th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 2:00 p.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Friday, January 4th from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
