Yolanda S"Landi" Valliere

Yolanda S. "Landi" (Petracone) Valliere, 95, of Centerville, MA, formerly of Otter River for many years, died peacefully Thursday, June 30, 2016 in Cape Regency Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center of Centerville, following a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Born in South Barre on July 16, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Angelina (Pacitto) Petracone.
Yolanda worked in the cafeteria of the Narrangansett Regional High School of Baldwinville for many years, retiring in 1981.
She was a member of St. Martins Church of Otter River.
Yolanda enjoyed sewing, baking and cooking. She loved dancing with her husband, especially the jitterbug.
She was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Vincent E. Valliere, who died June 7, 2009.
Yolanda leaves one son, Eugene P. Valliere of Centerville, MA; one daughter, Suzette M. Knower and her husband Donald of Gardner; five grandchildren, Scott Kendall, Brandon Knower, Brian Knower, Matthew Valliere and Danielle Valliere; seven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Lucy Trifilo.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 6th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Martins Church, 248 State Road, Otter River. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, 39 Bridge Street, Baldwinville.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 6th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
