William "Bill" Wisnauskas, 96, of Gardner, died peacefully in his home on Friday, April 19, 2024, with his wife Bernice by his side.

Born in Gardner on July 20, 1927, he was the son of the late Joseph and Amelia (Visniauskas) Wisnauskas. Bill attended Gardner High School and graduated in 1955. He was last employed as the Manager of the Lithuanian Club of Gardner until his retirement at 93 years old in 2021. He was previously employed by GEM Crib & Cradle for 29 years and Digital for 14 years.

Bill was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish in Gardner, practicing at Holy Spirit Church and formerly at the Sacred Heart and St. Joseph's Churches. He and Bernice loved traveling, going to Europe 14 times, including five trips to Lithuania. Bill kept up with his cousins in Lithuania until his last days. For many years, he wrote articles for the VYTIS Lithuanian newsletter under the pen name Vincukas. He was very proud of his Lithuanian heritage and was known around town as "Mr. Lithuania."
