William A. Kelley, 69, of Gardner, died unexpectedly Friday, May 5, 2023, in UMass Memorial Medical Center—University Campus, Worcester.
Born in Gardner on April 14, 1954, he was the son of the late Ollo J. and Medora (Boucher) Kelley. Bill was a Department Manager employed by Plastic Can of Leominster for many years until his retirement.
Bill was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, practicing at its Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. He loved to paint, working outside in his tomato garden or around the house. Bill’s greatest joy was his family, always treasuring the special moments they had together.
Bill is survived by his wife of 49 years, Irma M. (Cormier) Kelley of Gardner; two sons, Kevin D. Kelley and his girlfriend Steph of Gardner; and Shaun M. Kelley and his wife Mandy of South Carolina; four grandchildren, Yesenia Smith and her husband Cody, Melissa Kelley and her significant other Tim, Jessica Boney and her husband Trent and Joselyn Kelley; seven great-grandchildren, Remi, Ariah, Kayson, Savannah, Scarlett, Evelyn, and Oaklyn; two brothers, Daniel Kelley and his wife Karen of Gardner, and Peter Kelley and his girlfriend Carol of Winchendon; three sisters, Louella Roy of Gardner, Kathleen Richard her husband Paul of Gardner, and Susan Kelley of Gardner; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother, Roger Kelley; and two sisters, Doris Richard and Nancy Jalutkewicz.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held Friday, May 12, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Acadien Social Club, 193 Parker Street, Gardner, MA.
