William C. "Bill" Dick, Jr., 69, of Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, July 1, 2017 in The Highlands of Fitchburg, following a long illness.
Born in Gardner on September 17, 1947, he was the son of the late William C. Dick, Sr. and Georgina (Cormier) Dick.
Bill was employed in the Security and Maintenance Departments of Clinton Hospital several years ago. He was previously employed by Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner.
Bill was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. He was also a member of the Templeton Fish and Game Club.
Bill was a huge NASCAR fan. He will be remembered for his willingness to help others, and the joy it brought him.
Bill was predeceased by his wife, Linda (Johnson) Dick, who died in 2008.
He leaves one sister, Janice A. Drummey and her husband John of Hampton, NH; and one niece, Lesa Morrissey of Merrimac, MA.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 10th at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner.
