Born in Ayer on October 21, 1921, he was the son of the late James L. and Clara E. (McDonnell) Burton.
William was a United States WWII Navy Veteran, serving from 1942 thru 1945.
Private services will be held at a later date in the MA Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon, MA.
