William F. "Bill" Brennan, Jr., 57, of 248 Stowell Road, Ashburnham, died Wednesday, August 20th in St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester.
Born in Winchendon on September 22, 1950, he was the son of the late William F. and Evelyn (Lashua) Brennan, Sr.
Prior to retiring in 2002, Bill was a Highway Superintendent employed by the Town of Ashburnham, MA., for 34 years.
Bill was a former member of St. Denis Church in Ashburnham. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aeries #747 of Gardner, Turnpike Rod and Gun Club of Ashburnham and a former member of the Army National Guard.
Bill was a professional calf roper, and was a member of the Professional Rodeo Association and the American Rodeo Association. He enjoyed his time spent in the rodeo circuit. Bill especially enjoyed time spent with his family, grandchildren and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves his wife of 38 years, Peggy L. (Fontaine) Brennan of Ashburnham; one son, Christopher B. Brennan and his wife Tracey of Ashburnham; one daughter, Kelly A. Driscoll and her husband Timothy of Ashburnham; two sisters, Rita Dancause of Ashburnham and Linda Antognoni and her husband Doug Welton of Shirley; four grandchildren, Brady Brennan, Bailey Brennan, Jason Driscoll and Cassidy Driscoll all of Ashburnham; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23rd at 10:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Friday, August 22nd from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
