Warren S. Fuller, 78, of 61 Carruth Roath, Templeton, died peacefully Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in his residence surrounded by family following a brief illness.
Born in Gardner on March 4, 1936, he was the son of the late Francis W. and Marie Ange (Vallee) Fuller.
He was employed by the Templeton Development Center, Templeton as a maintenance foreman for 30 years, retiring in 1992. He was also employed for many years by Peoples Fuel of Gardner as a gas attendant.
Warren was a United States Korean War Navy Veteran and received the Good Conduct Medal and the National Defense Medal.
He was a member of Holy Cross Church of E. Templeton , where he served as a Eucharistic Minister.
He enjoyed bowling, softball, hunting, fishing, hiking and walking. He was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox. His favorite television shows were "All in the Family" and the game show "Jeopardy", and his favorite movie was "Enemy Below". Warren was also a farmer who raised dairy cows and hogs.
Warren leaves his wife of 57 years, Roseanne Lina (Richard) Fuller, of Templeton; three sons, Frank W. Fuller and his wife Pearl of Phillipston, Thomas W. Fuller and his wife Maurita of Baldwinville and James W. Fuller of Templeton; one daughter, Susan L. Lubianez and her husband David of Worcester; three brothers, Charles Fuller and his wife Barbara of Nashua, NH, Richard Fuller and his wife Rosalie of Gardner and Gerald Fuller of Gardner; one sister, Cynthia Fuller of Gardner; six grandchildren, Christopher J. Lubianez, Katrina L. Lubianez, Benjamin W. Fuller, Samantha M. Fuller, Austin W. Fuller and Adriana M. Fuller; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two siblings that died in infancy, a brother, David Fuller and a sister, Virginia T. Fuller.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, May 7th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Cross Church, 25 Lake Street, East Templeton. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glennallen Street, Winchendon.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 6th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
