Virginia M. (Dubuc) Oldham, 87, of 182 Peabody Street, Gardner, died Tuesday, May 13th in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner.
Born in Alberta, Canada on August 28, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Phylisio and Rosina (Ares) Dubuc.
Virginia was an upholsterer employed by National Reed of Gardner, retiring in 1954.
She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Gardner and deeply devoted to her faith.
Virginia enjoyed knitting.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53 years, Harold B. Oldham who died in 1999.
She leaves one son, David C. Oldham and his wife Betty of Baldwinville; one daughter, Linda T. Lewis and her husband Wayne of Rincon, GA; two sisters, Theresa Miller and her husband Harry of Gardner and Florence Tourigney of Gardner; five grandchildren, Brianne Bastarache, Beth Houston, Shawn Shaw, Allen Ingram and Mellissa Peterson; three great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers, Barney Dubuc, and Florent Dubuc and one grandson, Stephen Bradley Hill who died in 2007.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 17th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 166 Cross Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Saturday, May 17th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
