Veronica M. Davis

Veronica M. “Vicky” (Cote) Davis, 61, of Gardner, died peacefully Sunday, November 28, 2021, in her residence surrounded by her family.

Born in Fitchburg on May 23, 1960, she was the daughter of the Kathryn (LeMothe) Cote and the late Ronald Cote. She graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School, Fitchburg, with the Class of 1978. Vicky was a Home Healthcare Certified Nursing Assistant for several years prior to her illness.

Vicky was a parishioner of St. Bernard’s Church of Fitchburg. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles. Vicky loved cooking, and gardening—especially tending to her flower beds. The time that she truly loved and cherished the most was spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.

Besides her mother Kathryn Cote of Fitchburg, Vicky is survived by her life partner of over 30-years, Ronald N. Surett of Gardner; two daughters, Kathryn Surett of Gardner and Angela Davis of Gardner; a son, Daniel Surett and his wife Cacey of Gardner; five grandchildren, Amity, Joe, Violet, Sophia, and Olivia; one sister, Patricia Hall of Gardner; three brothers, Ronald Cote of Fitchburg, Leo Cote and his wife Missy of Westminster, and Michael Cote and his wife Laurie of Groton; two aunts, Germaine and Anne; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her father, she was predeceased by a sister, Suzanne “Sue” Cote.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.

Calling Hours will be held Saturday, December 4, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
