Veronica E. (Venn) Casavant, 97, of Gardner, died peacefully Sunday, December 17, 2017 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home of Gardner.
Born in Troy, NH on July 30, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Alice (Rochleau) Venn.
Veronica graduated from Troy High School with the Class of 1938. She was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
Veronica spent her life as a homemaker caring for her family. She enjoyed cooking, watching television and loved her dog "Dallas".
She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years, Donald J. Casavant, who died October 24, 2012; her infant son, Michael D. Casavant who died in 1961; her daughter, Kathleen J. Alvanos who died January 5, 2004; and by her brother, Reginald Venn.
Veronica leaves one grandson, Jason A. Arcangeli and his wife Nicole of Westminster; three great-grandchildren, Julian, Alex and Matthew Arcangeli; and one great-great-grandson, Griffin Arcangeli; and several cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, December 21st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in the Massachsuetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
A calling hour will be held Thursday, December 21st from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
