Thomas Jaillet, 78, of 821 Daniel Shay Highway, Athol, formerly of 13 Jean Street, Gardner, died peacefully, Saturday, November 22, 2104 in Quabbin Valley Healthcare of Athol.
Born in Gardner on September 10, 1936, he was the son of the late Samuel and Lydia (Bastarache) Jaillet.
Thomas earned his GED in 1966 through Gardner High School of Gardner.
He was employed by Millwright Local 1121 of Boston throughout his working career, retiring in 1995.
Thomas was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
He enjoyed fishing, motorcycle riding and watching auto racing on television.
Thomas was a member of the Otter River Sportsmen Club of Templeton, Deep Sea Club of Gardner, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie #747 of Gardner, West End Beagle Club, Inc. of Gardner and the Gardner Fish and Game Club.
He leaves one son, Edward Jaillet and his fiancé Brenda Lamoureux, both of Gardner; one daughter, Diane Vaillancourt of Gardner; his dear friend Bernadette Greenwood of Otter River; and several cousins. He was predeceased by his sister, Emelie Jaillet.
Graveside Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
