Thomas D."Tommy" Griffin

Thomas D. "Tommy" Griffin, 66, of 71 Lake Street, Gardner, died peacefully Wednesday, September 30, 2015 in HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital, following a long illness.
He was born in Gardner on December 29, 1948, the son of the late James M. and Celine "Helen" (LeBlanc) Griffin.
Tommy graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1966.
He was a member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Gardner.
Tommy was a talented craftsman who enjoyed designing and selling jewelry at various shows. He recently reached a milestone in his recovery, and was awarded his 25 year medallion from AA, an accomplishment he was quite proud of.
Tommy leaves three brothers, Richard Griffin and his wife Maureen of Gardner, Daniel Griffin of Chicopee and Peter Griffin and his wife Kelly of Gardner; three sisters, Carole Cormier and her husband Norman of Gardner, Mary Caldon and her husband Kerry of Suffield, CT and Barbara Richard and her husband Serge of East Templeton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Griffin.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 10th at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Reverend Joseph Jurgelonis of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary will officiate. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Saturday, October 10th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
