Thomas J"Tom" Dufort

Thomas J. "Tom" Dufort, 55, of Gardner, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017 in Baystate Medical Center of Springfield, following a brief illness.
Born in Gardner on September 16, 1961, he was the son of the late Joseph E. and Irene M. (Richard) Dufort.
Tom graduated from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School of Fitchburg with the Class of 1980. He was a welder employed by Spincraft of Billerica for several years.
Tom loved spending time bass fishing.
He leaves one daughter, Krysten Harty and her husband Nathaniel of Barre and Amsterdam; one brother, James Dufort and his wife Elaine of Florida; one sister, Karen Niemela of Templeton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Tom was predeceased by his brother, Robert Dufort.
Funeral Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
