Theresa L. (Allain) Morin, 92, of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, November 16, 2023, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after a period of declining health.
Born in Gardner on July 23, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Virginie (Cormier) Allain. She received her GED through Mount Wachusett Community College in 1988. Theresa was a clerk employed by Goodnow Pearsons of Gardner for 17 years before her retirement in 1987. She was previously employed by W.T. Grants & Newberry of Gardner for several years.
Theresa was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish of Gardner, practicing at its Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. She was also a member of its Ladies of Ste. Anne Society. Theresa was known for her loving and very strong Faith in her Savior Jesus and her love for the Bible, which she read every day and even read in its entirety more than a few times! Theresa enjoyed crocheting and playing BINGO. She loved to host events at her apartment and was known affectionately as the "Hostess of the Binnall." Theresa's greatest love, after her Lord, was her family, keeping all the special times close to her heart.
Theresa is survived by her daughter, Michelle R. Bond and her husband Kenneth of Fitchburg; three sons, Richard A. Morin and his wife Sherrie of Jacksonville, FL, Daniel J. Morin and his wife Lisa of Phillipston and Michael P. Morin U.S. Navy in Bahrain; two grandchildren, Thea Ramsey and her husband Timothy Jr. of Baldwinville, and Shera Webster and her husband Christopher of Jefferson; three sisters, Alice V. Thomaidis of Leominster, Rachel E. McPherson of Gardner, and Jeanette I. Stefancik of Orange; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years, Armand J. Morin; four sisters, Geraldine Isabelle Fontaine, Doris M. Smith, Stella A. Allain, and Cecile Allain; and her four brothers, Dr. Ernest L. Allen, Sylvio J. Allain, Henry N. Allain, and Paul G. Allain.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, November 20, 2023, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.
Calling Hours will be held Monday, November 20, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
