Theresa M Johnson

Theresa M. (Richard) Johnson, 90, of 52 Halford Street, Gardner, died peacefully Tuesday February 24, 2015 in Heywood Hospital of Gardner, following a brief illness.
Theresa was born in Gardner on December 4, 1924, the daughter of the late Jean-Baptiste and Sarah (Richard) Richard.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, and its' Ladies of St. Anne Society.
Theresa enjoyed reading, feeding the birds and working in her yard. She was an excellent cook and loved spending time with her family. She was a kind hearted woman who was always willing to help others, especially her neighbors.
Theresa was predeceased by her husband of 43 years, Alban Johnson, who died May 1, 1995.
She leaves two sons, Ernest J. Johnson and his wife Sally of Gardner and Roger J. Johnson of Phoenix, AZ; two daughters, Denise M. Lancake and her husband Eric of Warren, OH and Anne M. Horrigan and her husband Michael of Gardner; five grandchildren, Steven Hermann, Michael Hermann, Lauren Large and her husband Scott, Erin Horrigan and Timothy Caouette and his wife Jessica; one great-granddaughter, Caia Caouette; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by six sisters, Jane Marion, Cecile Fagastrom, Ernestine Valliere, Emma Valliere, Regina LeGrant, Sister Eva Richard of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015 from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery of Gardner, at a later date.
Calling hours will be held Saturday, February 28th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
