Theresa M"Terry" Brown

Theresa M. "Terry" (LeBlanc) Brown, 82, of Fitchburg, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, October 19, 2017 in The Highlands of Fitchburg, surrounded by her family.
Born in Gardner on December 14, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Leo J. and Madeleine M. (Gallant) LeBlanc.
Terry graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1956.
She was employed by Heywood Hospital of Gardner as a billing clerk for several years, retiring in 1996.
Terry was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
She enjoyed playing cards, watching movies and sitting outside relaxing. She loved helping others, and would spend her time at The Highlands delivering mail to the residents, letting people in and out of the building, and socializing with everyone. Her presence will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Brown, who died December 9, 1995.
Terry leaves one son, William Cote, Jr. and his wife Amanda of New Market, Maryland; one brother, Albert LeBlanc of Ohio; two grandchildren, Hannah Hunter and Kristen Barefield; one great-grandson, Michael David Hunter; several special nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves her first husband, William Cote, Sr. of North Carolina.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, October 25th at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, October 24th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Terry formed a special bond with many of the residents and staff of the Highlands, all of whom had a positive impact in her life every day. Her family would like memorial contributions be made to The Highlands, 335 Nichols Road, Fitchburg, MA 01420. Please reference in memory of Theresa M. Brown.
