TaraMae Babineau, 36, of Leominster, formerly of Gardner, died peacefully Tuesday, September 13, 2022, in UMass Memorial HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster, after a short illness.
Born in Gardner on December 8, 1985, she was the daughter of Tina (Miettinen) Babineau of Leominster and the late Scott Babineau. TaraMae was a Store Clerk employed by several stores throughout the years.
TaraMae was a congregant of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church of Gardner, and a former member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She was a creative individual who enjoyed listening to music and singing—even writing a song with her mom, working on crafts, decorating, and modeling. TaraMae loved nature and enjoyed taking nature walks and loved all types of animals. Her greatest joy in life was her family, especially her children, cherishing every moment they spent together.
Besides her mother, Tara is survived by her daughter JamieMae R. Knowlton of Baldwinville; two sons, Chance M. Knowlton of Townsend, and Shawn M. Knowlton of Fitchburg; her two sisters, Tia Marie Babineau of Baldwinville and Sky Maylene Babineau of Fitchburg; her Granny Bug, Sheila Miettinen and her significant other Donald Lajoie of Gardner; three uncles, Steve Babineau of Baldwinville, Stanley Babineau of Missouri, and Craig Miettinen of Gardner; and several cousins.
Besides her father, she was predeceased by an aunt, Debbie Babineau.
A Celebration of Life will be announced and held at a later date.
