Susan R. Avery, 63, of 304 Chapel St., Gardner, died peacefully in her sleep, Thursday, August 5th in her residence at Lifeskills, Inc., 304 Chapel St., Gardner, after a long illness.
Born in Northampton on August 10, 1946, she was the daughter of Amos and Edna Elizabeth (Parker) Avery.
Susan loved spending time being with people. She loved listening to music and being outdoors, especially swinging in the yard.
She leaves two brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 13th at 5:00 pm in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in the Avery-Stoddard Cemetery, Ledyard, CT.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Friday, August 13th from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
