Stephina A. "Steffie" (Zylinski) Travaglini, 87, of 23 Winchendon Road, Baldwinville died peacefully, Monday, April 20th in her residence surrounded by her family.
Born in Winchendon, on May 26, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Nasiatka) Zylinski.
Stephina was a homemaker after the birth of her sons. She was previously a shop worker employed by Thayer Manufacturing Co. of Gardner for several years, retiring in 1961.
Stephina attended Templeton High School, Templeton.
She was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Baldwinville.
She loved to sew, and made her own clothes. Stephina most enjoyed time spent with her sons.
Stephina was predeceased by her husband, Wilson J. Travaglini who died in 1989.
She leaves two sons, Wilson J. "Joe" Travaglini II and his wife Virginia of Gardner, and Michael A. Travaglini and his wife Jill of Baldwinville; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, Stanley, John and Chester "Brownie" Zylinski; and by three sisters, Jennie Rousseau, Lodie LeClair and Kathy Haarala .
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 22nd from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Wednesday, April 22nd from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Gardner Visiting Nursing Association, Hospice Program, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA 01440.
