Stephen H Palmieri

Stephen H. Palmieri, 59, of Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, January 14, 2017 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center of Worcester surrounded by his family, following a long illness.
Born in Gardner on May 19, 1957, he was the son of the John and Elaine (Robichaud) Palmieri.
Stephen attended Montachusett Regional Vocational School of Fitchburg. He was a member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary School of Gardner.
Stephen enjoyed fishing, walking 'Coco' the dog, and playing cards, especially poker. He loved watching sports on television, and was a huge fan of the New England Patriots.
He leaves his mother, Elaine (Robichaud) (Palmieri) Williams of Leominster; four brothers, Scott J. Palmieri and his wife Kathy of Gardner, Jeffrey M. Palmieri and his wife Lisa of Gardner, Michael D. Williams of Gardner, and Gary L. Williams and his spouse Robert Hicks of Worcester; three sisters, Linda M. Bourgeois and her husband Gerald of Templeton, Nancy J. Palmieri of Leominster and Michelle D. Antonelli of Fitchburg; one uncle, Rocco Palmieri and his wife Nina of Leominster; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 23rd from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery of Gardner at a later date.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, January 22nd from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
