Stacy E. (Gensiejewski) Zanin, 95, of Gardner, died on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
She was born in Gardner on January 9, 1925, the daughter of Antoni and Helen (Kapaciewski) Gensiejewski. She grew up in Gardner and graduated from Gardner High School in 1943.
She was predeceased by her husband Angelo Zanin of 51-years, who died in 2002; a sister Lillian H. Spring, who died in 2015; brothers Gerald Gensiejewski, who died in 1988, Alfred J. Gensiejewski, who died in 2008, and Albert Gensiejewski, who died in 2012.
She leaves her caring and loving nephew and his wife Wilfred and Carolyn Spring of Templeton. Two very caring great-nephews Jeffery and his wife Diana Spring of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Gregory Spring of Athol; many other nephews, great-nephews, a niece, and great-nieces.
Mrs. Zanin was a secretary at Massachusetts Electric Company in Gardner for 37-years. She retired in 1980. She attended Stevens Business College. She was an avid sports fan who loved the Red Sox, Celtics, and Patriots sports teams. She was a past member of the Catholic Women’s Club and a founding member of the Polish American Social League.
At her request, funeral services will be private. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Gardner.
