Sherrill S. (Smith) Manning, 65, of 164 Manca Drive, Gardner died suddenly Sunday, September 30, 2012 in her residence following a long illness.
Born in Gardner on October 5, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Christine (McAdams) Smith.
Sherrill graduated from Oakmont Regional High School, Ashburnham in 1965, and in 1989 received a Certificate from the Mental Health Training Program at Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner.
She was a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Gardner.
Sherrill enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and word search puzzles. She cherished her beloved cat, Cody.
She leaves one daughter, Brieanna Manning and her significant other, Gregory Ray of Leominster; two sons, Seth A. Miller and Trevor D. Miller both of Leominster; two brothers, Bradley Smith and his wife Gail of Westminster and Scott Smith and his wife Peo of Gardner; one sister, Paula d'Entremont and her husband Francis of Gardner; two aunts, Beverly Palmieri of Athol and Betty Davidson of Phillipston; two nieces and one nephew. She was predeceased by one nephew, Keith Smith.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 8th at 7:00 p.m. in Bethany Baptist Church, 72 Ryan Street, Gardner. Burial will be held at a later date.
Calling hours will be Monday, October 8th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Greater Gardner Relay for Life, 44 Bearfoot Road, Suite 1C, Northborough, MA 01532.
