Sheila S. (Balzer) Lupaczyk, 60, of Gardner, passed away peacefully from natural causes Friday, August 25, 2017, in her residence.
Born in Gardner on September 2, 1956, she was the daughter of Raymond S. Balzer and Teresa (Kanozak) Hendrickson.
Sheila graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1974. She received her Associates Degree in Human Services from Mount Wachusett Community College of Gardner in 1990.
She was a member of the former Sacred Heart of Jesus Church of Gardner.
Sheila loved spending time gardening, reading, traveling, antiquing and cooking, and she treasured spending time with her grandchildren. Sheila was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was an absolute beauty inside and out; she truly had a heart of gold. Her magnetic personality ensured she never had a shortage of friends and admirers. Above all, she profoundly loved her children and grandchildren, all of whom she was immensely proud of.
She leaves three sons, Jason T. Lupaczyk and his significant other Tonya Hamel of Athol, Matthew P. Lupaczyk, Sr. and his wife Shannon of Templeton, and Luke J. Lupaczyk and his significant other Kristen Martin of Winchendon; one daughter, Olivia L. Whalen and her husband Zak of Rochester, VT; five grandchildren, Aidan Mikels, Matthew Lupaczyk, Jr., Payton Whalen, TBA Baby Whalen and Isaac Lupaczyk; one sister, Janice Balzer of Gardner; two step-brothers, Justin Lombardo of Chicago, IL and Charles Lombardo of St. George's Island, FL; one step-sister, Kathy Lombardo of Riverside, CA; former husband, Paul Lupaczyk of Phillipston; one aunt, two uncles and several cousins; her very dear friend, Jack Bangrazi of Leominster, and also her beloved cat 'Ruby Lu Lu'. Sheila was predeceased by her parents, Teresa (Kanozak) Hendrickson and Raymond S. Balzer; and by her step-parents, Rosemary Balzer and Arnold Hendrickson; and brother, Joseph Balzer.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 6th at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be private and held at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, September 6th from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
