Scott J. Lajoie, 39, of 12 Hardwick Road, Petersham died Thursday, October 21st in Athol Memorial Hospital, Athol.
Born on April 10, 1971, he was the son of Ernest Bastarache of Westminster and Maureen P. Lajoie of Gardner.
His hobbies included camping, fishing, reading and watching soap operas on television. He was an avid sports fan, especially enjoying the Boston Red Sox and the San Francisco Forty-Niners.
Besides his parents, Scott leaves two sons, Jesse R. Lajoie of Leominster and Aiden S. Lajoie of Petersham; one brother, Jeremiah Bastarache of Westminster; one sister, Rebekah Bastarache of Worcester; several aunts, uncles, three nieces, three nephews and several cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 5th at 3:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral will be Friday, November 5th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
