Ruth A. (Bagdonas) Thompson, 82, of 165 Victoria Ave., Athol died Monday, April 18th in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing, Gardner, following an illness.
Born in Hartshorne, Oklahoma on September 3, 1922, she was the daughter of John J. and Stacey (Wingus) Bagdonas.
She was an assembler employed by L.S. Starrett Co. of Athol for 45 years until retiring in 1987.
She was a member of the L.S. Starrett Co. Club 25.
Her husband of 28 years, Lyman K. Thompson died in 1974.
She leaves 2 brothers, Charles W. Bagdonas and wife Cookie of Gardner, Victor A. Bagdonas of Gardner; 2 nieces, Julie A. Webb of Westminster and Jill M. Drury of Athol and several cousins.
Funeral services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner.
