Russell G. McMilleon

Russell G. McMilleon, 90, of 218 Airport Road, Gardner, died Thursday, April 24th in St. Mary's Health Care Center, Worcester.

Born in Leominster on August 9, 1917, he was the son of the late John and Harriet (Phelps) McMilleon.

Russell was a self-employed Landscaper for several years, retiring in 1997.

He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.

Russell was an avid hunter, and sportsman. He loved music, gardening, spending time outdoors and especially enjoyed time spent with his family.

He leaves his wife of 11 years, Anne M. (Mercier) McMilleon of Gardner; four sons, James McMilleon and Brian McMilleon of Gardner, Kenneth McMilleon of Boston and Bradford McMilleon of Leominster; one stepson, Mark A. Racine and his wife Karen of Gardner; one daughter, Sandra Peal of Westminster; two stepdaughters, Roberta Wilson and her husband Lawrence of Gardner and Carol Rathburn of Jaffrey, NH; eight grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers, Lawrence, Stanley and John McMilleon; and by five sisters, Helen Corkum, Ruth Merta, Harriet McMilleon, Beatrice Metivier and Edna Wood.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 28th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner.

A calling hour in the funeral home will be Monday, April 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
