Rose A. (Allain) Dupuis, 93, of Gardner, died peacefully Thursday, April 22, 2021, in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner, after an illness.
Born in New Brunswick, Canada, on February 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Edmee (Thibodeau) Allain. Rose was a Sales Clerk employed by Rich’s Department Store of Gardner for 16-years until her retirement in 1993.
Rose was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner and was a member of its Ladies of St. Anne Society. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, and watching television. Rose also loved to take trips down to Foxwood’s. But the time that she loved and treasured the most was spent with her family.
Rose is survived by her three sons, Gerard J. Dupuis and his wife Carolyn Miller of Gardner, Mark A. Dupuis and his wife Janet of Gardner, and Ronald E. Dupuis of Gardner; a granddaughter, Nicole Dupuis; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband of 53-years, Gerard J. Dupuis, who died in 2005; a daughter, Phyllis A. Dupuis, who died in 2006; two sisters, Adrienne Melanson and Dorine Daigle; four brothers, Andrew, Levy, Edward, and Emile Allain; and a daughter-in-law, Ann Dupuis.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.
A Calling Hour will be held Wednesday, April 28, 2021, from 9:30a.m. to 10:30a.m. in the funeral home.
Masks and social distancing will be required
