Rosa M Cormier

Rosa M. (Boudreau) Cormier, 78, of Gardner, died peacefully Saturday, December 25, 2021, in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner, after a long illness with her family by her side.

Born in Rogersville, New Brunswick, Canada, on November 27, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Emile and Bertha (Legere) Boudreau. She attended school through the Acadieville School System. Rosa was the Secretary employed by her husband’s construction company, Alfred J. Cormier Construction, for many years until her retirement in 2008.

Rosa was a parishioner of Annunciation Parish/ Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner. She loved to travel, especially to Florida during the winter and to Canada to visit family and friends. To Rosa, family was everything, cherishing every moment with them, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Rosa is survived by her husband of 58-years, Alfred J. Cormier of Gardner; three sons, Paul A. Cormier and his wife Dianne of Gardner, Roger J. Cormier and his wife Nicole of Gardner, and Robert J. Cormier of Gardner; eight grandchildren, Austin Cormier and his wife Kristen, Aimee St. Hilaire and her husband Jeffrey, Ryan Cormier, Roger Cormier, Jr. and his wife Brittany, Keith Cormier, Chelsey Cormier and her fiancé Ryan; Kaleigh Cormier and her fiancé Jayson Gauvin and Colby Cormier and his fiancé Sarah Burbage; eight great-grandchildren; four sisters, Florine Comeau of Gardner, Doris Arsenault and her husband Norman of Westminster, Lucille Vautour and her husband Roger of Gardner, and Yvette Cormier and her significant other Ernie LeBlanc of New Hampshire; seven brothers, Thomas Boudreau and his wife Norma of Gardner, Auguste Boudreau of Gardner, Fidele Boudreau and his wife Diane of Gardner, Claude Boudreau and his wife Francine of Gardner, Emile Boudreau, Jr. and his wife Jeannette of Gardner, Gerald Boudreau of Gardner and Elie Boudreau and his wife Paulette of Gardner; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by two sisters, Nora Belliveau and Jeannette Comeau.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 31, 2021, from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA with a Mass at 12:00 p.m. in Annunciation Parish at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, West Street, Gardner, MA.

Calling Hours will be held Friday, December 31, 2021, from 9:30 a.m.to 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
