Ronald F. "Tu-Tu" Patient, 73, of Royalston, and formerly of Westminster, died unexpectedly Monday, April 25, 2011 in his residence after being stricken ill.
Born in Fitchburg on June 28, 1937 he was the son of the late Camille and Yvonne (Carle) Patient.
Ronald was a machinist employed by H & R 1871 Manufacturing Co of Gardner for several years, retiring in 1986. He also co-owned Diamond Auto Body of Fitchburg.
Ronald attended Fitchburg Public Schools. He was a member of the American Legion Post 67 of Chester, VT.
Ronald was a United States Army Veteran, and received the Good Conduct Medal.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and spending time outdoors.
He leaves his wife Janet C. (Jaillet) Patient of Westminster; one son, Dana F. Patient and his wife Heidi of Westminster; one sister, Louise Lynch and her husband Larry of Rehoboth Beach, Delaware; one grandchild, Ethan F. Patient of Westminster; three nieces, two nephews and several cousins.
Memorial Services will be held Thursday, May 5th at 11:00 in St. Joseph's Church, 358 Pleasant Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Westminster at a later date.
