Ronald G. "Ron" LeBlanc, 57, of Baldwinville, died peacefully Friday, July 24, 2015 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center-University Campus of Worcester surrounded by his family, following a long battle with cancer.
He was born in Paris, France on September 17, 1957, the son of Raymond J. and Agnes (Fritzinger) LeBlanc.
Ron graduated from Narragansett Regional High School with the Class of 1976.
He served in the United States Navy from 1979 thru 1985, and received the Humanitarian Service Ribbon, Sea Service Ribbon, Battle "E" Ribbon and the Navy Expeditionary Medal.
Ron was a welder employed by Rand Engineering of Winchendon for several years.
He was an avid outdoorsman who also enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.
Ron leaves three daughters, Nicole LeBlanc of Baldwinville, Megan LeBlanc of Baldwinville and Katie LeBlanc and her fiancé Adam Duval of Fitchburg; two brothers, Michael LeBlanc and his wife Maggie of Otter River and Brian LeBlanc of Hubbardston; one sister, Deborah LeBlanc of Ramona, CA; two grandchildren, Annabelle and Benjamin Duval; one aunt, Lorraine Hendrick of Westminster; one nephew, Ryan LeBlanc and one niece, Courtney LeBlanc.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 5th at 3:00 p.m. in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
There are no calling hours.
