He was an auto body technician employed by Cournoyer Oldsmobile-Cadillac of Houma, LA for 12 years, retiring in 1991.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church. He was a past member of V.F.W. Ovila Case Post 905 of Gardner, and the Quabbin Valley Health Care Veterans Club.
Ronald enjoyed playing pool and shrimp fishing.
He was a U.S. Marine Korean War Veteran and received the Korean Ribbon with 3 stars, United Nations Ribbon, National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Korean Presidential Unit Citation.
