Roland J. LeClerc of Templeton, MA, died peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2024, in his home, surrounded by his family.

Born in East Templeton on November 6, 1933, he was the son of Albert and Blanche (Lemire) LeClerc. Roland attended Templeton High School but earned his degree from Mahar Regional High School in 1963, after all 6 of his children were born. He loved simpler times making cherished memories including Monday night dinners, nightly happy hour, and family gatherings celebrating his children, grandchildren, and great-grand children.

Roland is survived by his loving family including his five daughters, Cathie McCaffrey and her husband Kevin, Debbie Duguay and her husband Bruce, and Cindy Houston and her husband Will, all of Templeton, Tammy LaFalam of Rindge NH, and Carole (Charlie) deCourcy of Woodstock VA; twelve grandchildren, Samantha, Shane, Briana, Jason, Nick, Casey, Ryan, Tim, Nissa, Jessica, Meaghan and Kyle; and twenty-three great-grandchildren. A multitude of nieces, nephews, and extended family will also miss their fun times with their beloved Uncle Roland.

He was predeceased by his wife, Joan (Comee) who passed away in 2017; his son, John LeClerc (2011); two grandsons, Marc Carroll (2021) and Noah Houston (2021). He is the last surviving member of the large LeClerc clan, being predeceased by five brothers, Edmund, Arthur, Camille, Anthony, and Albert; and four sisters, Marguerite, Theresa, Rita, and Blanche.
