Roland J. Abare, Jr., 39, of 320 Pleasant St., Gardner, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 28th after being stricken ill at home.
Born in Leominster on April 27, 1966, he was the son of Roland J. Abare, Sr. and the late Phyllis L. (St.Martin) Abare.
He was formerly a Quality Assurance Inspector for a firm in Worcester.
He attended Leominster High School and enjoyed playing Bingo.
Besides his father of Fitchburg he leaves his wife, Marcia (Ormsby) Abare of Gardner; 4 sons, David A. Ormsby, James E. Broeckel, Kenneth A. Broeckel all of Gardner, Michael P. Abare of Worcester; 3 daughters, Elizabeth M. Moriarty, Carrie L. Broeckel both of Gardner, Christina M. Abare of Shelbyville, TN; 1 brother William F. Murphy of New Bedford; 1 sister, Mary J. Parry and fiance Phillip H. Foggs of Worcester; 1 granddaughter, Megan Boivin of Gardner; several aunts, uncles, 2 nieces, Stephanie Moisan of Worcester, Kathleen Murphy of New Bedford; 2 nephews, Anthony Lozeau of Worcester, Daniel Murphy of New Bedford, and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 4th @ 4:00 p.m. in Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday, October 4th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
