Robert J Stefancik

Robert J. Stefancik, 80, Orange, MA, met with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 18th surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Holyoke, he was the son of the late Stephan and Anna (Filo) Stephancik.

Robert was a printer employed by Eusey Press of Leominster for 30 years, retiring in 1995.

He graduated from Holyoke Public High School with the Class of 1947.

Robert was a United States Navy Korean War Veteran.

Robert was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. He was also a member of the American Legion, Post 172 of Orange.

He enjoyed building model airplanes and trains, and watching the History Channel on television. Robert was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Jeannette I. (Allain) Stefancik of Orange; one son, John P. Stefancik of Westminster; two daughters, Lisa J. Coleman and her husband Thomas of Athol and Marya C. Cote and her husband Douglas of Athol; one sister, Peggy Nadeau of Holyoke; six grandchildren, Thomas R. Coleman, Aaron M. Coleman Nathaniel P. Coleman, Candice L. (Coleman) Brothers, Taylore A. Cote and Garrett A. Cote; one great-grandchild, Sydney E. Coleman; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 22nd from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.

Calling hours in the funeral home will be Friday, January 22nd from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
