Robert C Montville Sr

Robert C. "Pee Wee" Montville, Sr., 81, of Athol, died Monday, March 14, 2016 in his home, following a long battle with cancer.
Robert was born in Gardner on November 25, 1934, the son of the late William and Beulah (Merritt) Montville.
He was employed for several years by MCM Furniture of Leominster as a delivery person, retiring in 2005.
Robert served two years with the National Guard. He enjoyed camping and taking trips to Foxwoods. He was a devoted husband and father who loved spending time with his family.
He leaves his wife of 55 years, Marlene B. (DiSalvo) Montville of Athol; one son, Robert C. Montville, Jr. of Athol; four daughters, Linda M. Montville-Robichaud and her husband Alexander of Fitchburg, Lisa A. Follis of Athol, Brenda D. Montville of Leominster and Tina M. Montville of Lunenburg; fourteen grandchildren, Shauna, William, Jeffrey, Jessica, Alicia, Kyana, Autumn, Tiffany, Katie, Steven, Michael, Lacey, Stephanie and Ryanne; thirteen great-grandchildren; one niece, Shirley Carpenter of FL; two nephews and several cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Michael A. Montville; and two brothers, Kenneth and Arnold Montville.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, March 26th at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Crystal Lake Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Saturday, March 26th from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be sent to Marlene Montville, 494 School Street, Apt. 200, Athol, MA 01331 to assist with funeral expenses.
