Robert S. Hillis Jr.

Robert Stevenson Hillis Jr., 65, of Gardner, formerly Billerica, passed away suddenly in his home, Tuesday, November 14, 2023.

Born in Woburn, July 12, 1958, he was the son of the late Robert Sr. and Rosanne (Grimes) Hillis.

Bob was an employee of Walmart for the last five years and previously worked at Standard Chair in Gardner, Ma.

Bob was a United States Army Veteran serving from 1979-1982, earning an Army Service Ribbon and an Overseas Service Ribbon. He was a lifelong member of the Billerica Lodge of Elks and a member of the Gardner Eagles. He enjoyed deep sea fishing and was an avid New England Patriots fan.

Bob is survived by his son Robert Stevenson Hillis lll, of Temple, TX; a daughter Skye Brianna Robinson-Hillis, of Washington, DC; two sisters, Diane (Hillis) Doell of Billerica, and Debra (Hillis) Kramer of Billerica; a granddaughter,  Haley Nicole Hillis, of Temple, TX; a great granddaughter Nylah Rose Hillis, of Temple, TX; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. He will be buried at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon, MA.
