Robert "Bob" H. Guichard Jr.

Robert “Bob” H. Guichard Jr., 60, of Gardner, died peacefully Wednesday, July 19, 2023, in Lahey Clinic Hospital, Burlington, after an illness.

Born in Leominster on September 9, 1962, he was the son of the late Robert H. Guichard Sr. and Elaine G. (Beaulac) Kelley. He graduated from Ayer High School with the Class of 1980. Bob was employed by various construction companies throughout the years.

Bob was a congregant of Trinity Chapel in Shirley. Prior to becoming disabled, he loved to play in men’s softball leagues. Bob also loved to play chess and was especially fond of taking trips to the family campground in Antrim, NH. To him, family was everything, especially his nieces and nephews. Bob greatly missed his mother and sister since they had passed, and once again will be reunited with them.

Bob is survived by his son, Robert Guichard of New Ipswich, NH; a brother Clinton J. Harris and his wife Kendall of Illinois; three sisters, Christine Daynard and her husband Rick of Haverhill, Julie Harris-Fisher of Townsend, and Jan M. Vazquez  and her husband Pasquale of Fitchburg; three grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and three friends and the staff at his residential group home.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Catherine Panagiotes.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA.

A Calling Hour will be held Saturday, July 29, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
