Rita J. (LeBlanc) Flagg, 81, of Westminster, passed away in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester, on Friday, April 12, 2024.
Born in Leominster on April 5, 1943, she was the daughter of the late David and Marie Jeanne (Blais) LeBlanc. Rita worked for Wachusett Potato Chip Co., followed by Tucker Warehouse as a Stocker, until her retirement.
Rita enjoyed bingo, crafting, and the occasional shopping trip. She frequently watched soap operas or Law and Order, as well as movies about mysteries. Rita’s true passion in life, though, was her family, especially her grandchildren.
Rita is survived by one daughter, Kelly J Valiton and her husband Stephen, of Westminster; three sons, John D. MacMillan and his wife Cynthia, of Gardner, Scott A. MacMillan and his wife Dora, of Worcester, and Shawn M. MacMillan, of Westminster; six brothers, Andre, Francis, Leo, Robert, Renee, and Ronald; five sisters, Mary, Rachael, Claire, Jeanette, and Bertha; ten grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Rita was predeceased by her first husband, John MacMillan; her second husband, Chester Flagg; and her sister, Louise.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA, 01475.
Calling Hours will be held Friday, April 26, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
