Rita M. (Belliveau) Burns, 88, of 450 North Main St., Leominster, died Monday, December 13th in Health Alliance - Leominster Hospital, following an illness.
Born in Fitchburg on May 5, 1916, she was the daughter of Edward and Alvina (LeBlanc) Belliveau.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
She enjoyed gardening.
Her husband, Joseph P. Burns, died in 1987.
She leaves 1 brother, Ronald Belliveau of Long Island, NY; 2 sisters, Eva Dion of Leominster and Alberta Baldwin of Hartford, CT; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 15th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be Wednesday, December 15th from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to Manor on the Hill Activity Fund, 450 North Main St., Leominster, MA 01453 or to Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner, MA 01440.
