Rina M. Richard

Rina M. (Babineau) Richard, 74, of 21 Acadia Road, Gardner died peacefully Friday, April 20, 2012 in UMASS Medical Center, 55 Lake Avenue North, Worcester, surrounded by her family following a long illness.
Born in Rogersville, N.B. Canada on February 9, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (LaBurque) Babineau.
Rina was a housekeeper employed by Simplex Time Recorder of Gardner for 25 years, retiring in 2003.
She was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Gardner.
Rina enjoyed cooking, playing cards and traveling to Rogersville, N.B. Canada. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
She leaves her husband of 51 years, Cyril J. Richard of Gardner; two sons, Ronald S. Richard and his wife Bonnie of Athol and Yvon D. Richard and his wife Keli of Leominster; two sisters, Doris Cormier of Rogersville, N.B., Canada and Stella Arsenault and her husband Olivier of Rogersville, N.B. Canada; four grandchildren, Jonathan Richard of Leominster, Sarah Richard of Leominster, Tanya Kiutilek of W. Ossipee, NH and Matthew Belliveau of Rockwood, ME; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rina was predeceased by six brothers, Albert, Philias, Alex, Maxime, Romeo, and Alcide Babineau; and by two sisters, Delvina Goguen and Rose Babineau.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 24th from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Monday, April 23rd from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
