Ricky D. "Frenchy" Francoeur, 45, of 8 Toofs Drive, Winchester, NH died Monday, November 1st in Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH, following a long illness.
Born in Gardner on April 16, 1965, he was the son of Reno and Lorraine (Levasseur) Francoeur.
Ricky attended Gardner High School, Gardner, MA. He was a Transmission Technician employed by Transtec Performance Company of Rindge, NH for several years, retiring in 2006.
He was a member of the West End Beagle Club of Gardner. Ricky enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. He also enjoyed camping and karaoke.
Besides his mother, Lorraine (Levasseur) Francoeur of Gardner, Ricky leaves his wife of sixteen years Deborah M. (Martin) Francoeur of Winchester, NH; two step-sons, Martin Grover and his wife Lauren of Meriden, CT and Bradley Grover of Winchester, NH; one brother, Gilles E. Francoeur and his wife Gina of Turners Falls, MA; one sister, Ginette M. Gauron and her significant other, Phillip Martin of Templeton; two grandchildren, Quinn and Maxwell Grover of Meriden, CT; five aunts, Cecile Francoeur, Ferdinande Francoeur, Ida Lalonde, Jeannine Levasseur, and Jackie Sterling; five uncles, Fred , Emilien, Norman and Ferdinand Francoeur and Guy Levasseur; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He also leaves his best friend, his dog "Buddy". He was predeceased by a brother, Daniel Francoeur, who died in 2004.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 6th at 3:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
A calling hour will be Saturday, November 6th from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
