Richard P. Perron Sr.

Richard P. Perron Sr., 82, of Gardner, died Tuesday, June 13, 2023, in his home in Gardner, surrounded by his family.  

Born in Leominster on October 16, 1940, he was the son of the late Wilfred and Dorina (Leger) Perron. Richard attended Saint Cecilia's School in Leominster and earned his GED from Mount Wachusett Community College in 1983.  He was a Compound Manager employed by Tucker HouseWares in Leominster and worked for Holiday Housewares in Leominster, up to his retirement in 2004.

Richard enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, bird watching, and gardening. He would take frequent trips to the casinos as well. His greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  

Besides his parents, Richard was predeceased by his son, Brian Perron; and his twin brother, Robert P. Perron. 

Richard is survived by his wife of 60 years, Irene E. (Murray) Perron; two sons, Richard Perron Jr. and his wife Judy of Gardner, and Bruce A. Perron and his wife Michelle of Baldwinville; four grandchildren, Sasha of Minnesota, Bruce Jr. of Wisconsin, Rachel Rooney and her husband Matt of Rhode Island, and Michael Perron of Massachusetts; seven great-grandchildren, Layla, Jeremiah, Abigail, twins, Conner and Logan, Faith, and Augustine; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner, MA.

A Calling Hour will be held Monday, June 19, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
