Richard J. "Rick" Minton, 54, of 157 Logan Street, Gardner died unexpectedly, Tuesday, September 23, 2014 in Gardner.
Born in Lowell on November 18, 1959, he was the son of the late Richard J. and Joanne (Genereux) Minton.
Richard was a truck driver employed by the former Wachusett Lumber Company of Hubbardston.
He attended Alvirne High School of Hudson, NH.
Richard enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing and spending time with family and friends around the fire pit. Playing darts was one of his favorite pastimes, and he was a member of the South Gardner Hotel Dart Team. He was also an avid football and hockey fan.
He leaves his wife of 29 years, Tracie E. (Shaw) Minton of Lowell; one son, Richard M. Minton of Gardner; two daughters, Dannielle Kranz and her husband Rob of Harrisburg, PA and Rebecca-Lea Minton and her significant other Warren Janhunen of Gardner; four sisters, Cindy Higgins and her husband Ken of Plaistow, NH, Marlene Baggett and her husband Frank of Ohio, Kathy Hill of Nashua, NH and Sheila Fancy and her husband Kevin of Salem, NH; two grandchildren, Rainne Kranz and Brayten Kranz; four aunts, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 4th at 12:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Saturday, October 4th from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
