Richard K. "Buffy", "Dick" Lefebvre, 78, of 386 Otter River Road, Templeton, died peacefully Friday, August 15, 2014 in his residence, following a brief illness.
Born in Winchendon on September 19, 1935, he was the son of the late Alfred and Flora J. (Girouard) Lefebvre.
Richard attended the former Templeton High School of Templeton.
He was employed by the Templeton Developmental Center as a driver for 15 years. He was previously employed by Union Twist Drill Company of Athol.
Richard was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
Richard was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and cutting wood. He enjoyed golfing, and especially loved spending time with his family.
He was a member of the Otter River Sportsman's Club of Templeton and Templewood Golf Course of Templeton.
Richard leaves his wife, Dorothy A. (Wilson) Lefebvre of Templeton; one daughter, Richelle Stacy of Brunswick, Maine; three grandchildren, PFC David R. Iadarola of Ft. Hood, Texas, Andrew F. Stacy of Steep Falls, Maine and Kassaundra F. Stacy of Brunswick, Maine; one niece, Heather Moorehead; one nephew, Michael Wilson; and several cousins.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, August 21st from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Service at 11:00 a.m. in the First Church of Templeton, 1 Wellington Road, Templeton. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Templeton.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, August 20th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
