Richard W."Richie" Davidson

Richard William "Richie" Davidson, 60, of 88 New Templeton Road, Hubbardston died suddenly Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in his residence after being stricken ill.
Richard was born in Concord, MA on November 8, 1950, the son of the late Joseph J. Davidson, Sr. and Sophie E. (Fabiyan) Davidson.
He was employed by Options Direct of Athol in the Shipping and Receiving Department for the past 5 years.
Richard graduated from Concord-Carlisle High School in Concord with the Class of 1968. He attended Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner and Worcester State College in Worcester.
He enjoyed playing the guitar, model cars and was an avid fan of NASCAR. He loved spending time outdoors, especially hiking with his dogs, gardening and kayaking.
He leaves his wife of 37 years, Paula M. (Leblanc) Davidson, of Hubbardston; one son, Justin P. Davidson and his significant other, Andrea Kendall of Gardner; one sister, Mary Carr and her husband Robert of St. Augustine, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Joseph J. Davidson, Jr. and Robert Davidson.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 2nd at 1:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
A calling hour in the funeral home will be Wednesday, November 2nd from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.
