Richard Bushee

Richard G. Bushee, 84, of Ashburnham, died peacefully Thursday, July 28, 2021, in Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Gardner, after an illness.

Born in Gardner on September 18, 1936, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ruperta (Goodwin) Bushee. He graduated from Fitchburg High School with the Class of 1955. Richard was a self-employed auto parts salesperson for 50-years, where he developed great working relationships and friendships with his clients prior to his retirement.

Richard was a congregant of the Peoples Church of South Ashburnham. He was a family man and loved and deeply cherished time spent with them.

Richard is survived by his wife of 63-years, Betty A. (MacLean) Bushee of Ashburnham; five sons, Mark R. Bushee of Gardner, Matthew C. Bushee of Gardner, Benjamin T. Bushee of Ashburnham, Daniel M. Bushee of Vermont, and Luke D. Bushee of Gardner; two daughters, Rebecca A. Belliveau and her husband William of Ashburnham, and Belinda L. Moyen and her husband Eric of Gardner; seventeen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
