Renee Marie (Olivari) (Brooks) Shea, 48, of Taunton, died Monday, September 11, 2017 in Morton Hospital of Taunton, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
Renee was born in Gardner on October 20, 1968, the daughter of Donna Theresa Breton.
She graduated from Gardner High School with the Class of 1986, and in 1989 she received her degree in Nursing from Mount Wachusett Community College of Gardner.
At the time of her death, Renee was a Registered Nurse employed by Morton Hospital of Taunton.
She was a former member of Annunciation Parish/Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church of Gardner.
Renee enjoyed painting and drawing. She was an avid fan of hockey and the New England Patriots. Renee treasured caring for and cooking for her granddaughter.
She leaves one daughter, Sarah B. Brooks of New Bedford; one son, Korey Johnson of Taunton; five grandchildren, Kold Johnson, Madeline Brooks, Bella Brooks, Cody Brooks and Aryanna Miller; and her former husband, Charlie L. Shea of Burlington.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 5th at 6:00 p.m. in the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner.
A calling hour will be held Thursday, October 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, One Bulfinch Place, Suite 201, Boston, MA 02114-2931.
