Rene Noe Pelletier

Rene Noe Pelletier, 76, of 59 Eastwood Circle, Gardner and formerly of 200 Nichols St., Gardner died peacefully Wednesday, May 31st in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing.
Born in Gardner on August 20, 1929, he was the son of Philippe and Regina (Fredette) Pelletier.
He was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and its League of the Sacred Heart. He was a past member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #747 of Gardner.
Rene enjoyed working on his computer, wrote poetry and short stories some of which have been published. He loved people and sold greeting cards from door to door. He liked to travel around town on his "Rascal".
He leaves 1 brother, Victor J. Pelletier and wife Mary of Gardner with whom he made his home; 2 sisters, Therese Chiapulis of North Brookfield and Maria Butler and husband Denis of Gardner; 17 nieces and nephews; 39 great-nieces and nephews; 11 great-greatnieces and nephews and several cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Rev. Raymond Pelletier M.S.; 2 sisters, Laurette Couillard and Estelle Pelletier.
According to his wishes, his body has been donated to Science.
A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, June 9, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be Thursday, June 8th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner, MA 01440 or to the LaChance Center Residents' Activity Fund, 59 Eastwood Circle, Gardner, MA 01440.
