Rebecca M"Becky" Perreault
January 10, 1919 — December 29, 2010
Rebecca M. "Becky" (Saveall) Perreault, 91, of 51 Hospital Road, Baldwinville and formerly of 1263 Green St., Gardner, died Wednesday, December 29th in Heywood Hospital, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness.
Born in Templeton on January 10, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William and Madalyn (Temple) Saveall.
Prior to retiring in 2004, Mrs. Perreault was a Dietary Aide employed by Heywood Hospital in Gardner for 40 years. She also volunteered in the hospitals gift shop for many years.
Mrs. Perreault was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society.
Her hobbies included vegetable gardening and cooking. She enjoyed watching her favorite television shows: Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and the Carol Burnett Show. Mrs. Perreault enjoyed attending and was an avid fan of her grandchildren's sporting events. She loved the ocean, and especially liked traveling to Hampton Beach. She had a wonderful sense of humor, and loved to laugh.
Mrs. Perreault was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, Herve J. Perreault who died December 30, 1997.
She leaves three sons, George T. Perreault and his wife Claire of Worcester, Albert H. Perreault and his significant other, Linda Siezeik of Melrose, FL and Theodore R. Perreault and his wife Sandy of Gardner; two daughters, Suzanne G. Guertin and her husband Andre of Gardner and Kathleen N. Desmarais of Gardner; one sister-in-law, Rita Saveall of Winchendon; thirteen grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by three brothers, William, Norman and Carrol Saveall and by three sisters, Joan Woodard, Eloise Dennison and Madalyn Bonk.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, January 3, 2011 from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols Street, Gardner with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Gardner at a later date.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Monday, January 3, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
